Mike Stallard


Mike is a an Associate Member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors.  He makes 'Virtuoso carvings in marble' according to Alan Windsor's 'British Sculptors of the Twentieth Century' (Ashgate pubs.)

He had numerous commissions in the 90s including a carving for an interior courtyard at Homerton Hospital in London and carvings in black marble for the Sultan of Brunei.  His work in marble was exhibited in many galleries in London. His work appeared in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition on about 12 occasions.  His latest commission in 2008 was for the Solarium Deck of Caribbean Cruise Line's new ship 'Oasis of the Seas'.  His work is represented in numerous private collections in Europe and the US.

At present he is developing methods of casting in bronze.
